For congregations disposing of Bibles, hymnbooks and Christian education materials, there is an alternative to the recycling bin. Materials can be sent to the Christian Salvage Mission where they are boxed and sent to Christians in overseas countries. The organization is based in Hamilton, ON, but there are collection depots located in cities across Canada. The Mission collects the following types of materials regardless of the date of publication:

This organization based in Markham, ON, collects theological volumes from the following perspectives: Reformation, Puritan, Covenanter, Presbyterian, Calvinist and Reformed Baptist.
